i am someone who believes that birthdays are days to be celebrated. i think it is important to make people feel special and loved on their birthday. i always try to do something nice for those people i care about most. even if it's a card - it reminds that person that you remembered today is about them! a close friend's birthday is today so i took her out to pizza libretto last night. we drank wine and chatted over pizza. and the kind waiter overheard me mention it was her birthday and brought a little candle with dessert. such a sweet gesture! (ps. their tiramisu is to die for)
presents don't have to be grand, it's the thought that counts. i encourage you to celebrate and make the most of birthdays!
