D and I had ourselves a nice little outing last night at the Open Roof Festival. We grabbed a slice at North of Brooklyn and got down to Echo Beach just before the movie started. We did accidentally sit in on a free screening of Ghostbusters at first but quickly realized we were in the wrong spot (who knew there would be so many outdoor screenings in such a close proximity?!). We made our way over to the proper screening and got there just in time for the start of "How To Make Money Selling Drugs". It's Adrien Greniers new documentary and it was awesome. I don't have crazy dreams of becoming some drug kingpin but the subject matter was interesting none the less. There were chairs set out for us viewers and local brewed beer and eats to enjoy as well. I can't wait to take better advantage of outdoor screenings next summer - a very fun Thursday night activity.
