wishlisted

With my constant social media following, blog reading and online browsing, I'm always crushing on a few fashion, beauty, tech or home decor pieces. Wishlisted will be a run down of what is on my radar - this is my current wish list ::

I saw this sweater at the North Face store at Yorkdale this weekend and it is the softest sweater ever. I would be so cozy to layer under my ski coat and for apres drinks!

I have an obsession with stars and my fitness instructor was wearing the lightning bolt version of these tights in Mondays class. They are a splurge but so cute.

This would be such a fun bag to bring to summer markets and the beach, plus its a steal at $22!

We've been entertaining more and I love the idea of having wine on the table so guests can help themselves. We rarely cover the live edge with tablecloths, so these coasters would ever so stylishly protect the table.

we joined a wine club

So as of late December, D and I are now members of a wine club! D is the master of browsing BlogTO/Toronto Life and he's always sending me new restaurants we should check out or cool Toronto events. He came across The Charlie's Burgers Wine Program and suggested it would be a perfect Christmas gift for me to give him. I lovingly went along with the suggestion, fully aware that I will undoubtedly benefit greatly from the gift.

How It Works ::

December's pick was a magnum of a 2008 Amarone! We signed up in mid December, so January will be our first delivery and we're expecting it any day now. It is a total indulgence but something fun to look forward to each month!

a year in review :: 2017

For a bevy of rather obvious reasons, 2017 was nothing shortly of extraordinary...

I managed to check off a couple of those humongous and momentous life milestones by getting married and buying a house!

Travel is one of my biggest inspirations and I was lucky enough to travel to Miami, Barbados, Hawaii and we got out to British Columbia twice.

This past year I rode in a helicopter, ate some amazing meals (both home cooked and at beautiful restaurants), learned how to calligraph (although my skill still needs some fine tuning), saw some amazing live music, started a wine collection and created some really precious memories with family and friends.

This year, even more than others past, reminds me how fortunate I am to live such a wonderful, fulfilling life and to be surrounded daily by such amazing people. I sure have a lot to be thankful for!

I wanted to go back over the year and highlight some of my favorite moments and memories - documented here as a time capsule of sorts. Cheers to a wonderful 2017 and somehow, an even better 2018!
